After spending some time in her native Barbados, Rihanna rocks out a stylish new jean jacket as arrives back home in Los Angeles via LAX airport on Monday night (April 27).
The 21-year-old Bajan babe attended Reggae on the Hill, in Barbados, where she joined reggae star Beenie Man on stage. And over the weekend, Rihanna also attended Chum FM’s 24th anniversary celebration, also in Barbados.

Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry were seen hanging out in Barbados on Thursday, April 23.
Katy, 24, and Kelly, 27, were in town to perform at Chum FM’s 24th anniversary celebration at Harbour Lights on Bay Street. Rihanna, 21, was seen cheering from the audience.
Rihanna and Katy were spotted hanging out on the beach for the next few days.

Rihanna Attends Britney Spears Concert

 On Friday (April 17), Rihanna was seen shopping at the BAPE store on Melrose. Later in the evening, she attended the Britney Spears Circus concert at The Staples Center.
On Thursday (April 16), Rihanna (with an entourage of 10) partied at new Hollywood nightclub, Halo. “Rihanna’s group sat in the elevated V.I.P. area, which has one way mirrors,” an onlooker tells E!. “They can look into the crowd, but the crowd can’t see them. This offers the group privacy with a hint of voyeurism.”

Rihanna Set To Perform Again In May

 21-year-old Barbadian singer Rihanna just signed the rider to book her first live stage show since her altercation with Chris Brown. The concert is expected to be held in the United Arab Emirates on May 28. The venue has yet to be decided due to Dubai and Abu Dhabi promoters fighting to secure the event.
“It will be the best concert the region has ever seen and we will stop at nothing,” said Yassin Matbouly, promoter and managing director of the event. “She is incredible and she wants to come to the Middle East for the people of the whole region, not just the UAE.”

Rihanna hit the recording studio to reportedly lay down some tracks for her upcoming album on Friday (April 10) in Santa Monica, Calif.
On Saturday (April 11) night, Rihanna made a surprise appearance at N.E.R.D.’s concert in Kansas City. She was seen getting into the groove and dancing on stage.

Rihanna's Dad on Chris Brown

After hearing the news that Chris Brown pleaded not guilty after being charged with allegedly beating his daughter, Rihanna's father, Ronald Fenty, told Usmagazine.com that Brown "needs to stop being in denial" about what he did.
Fenty added: "So what happened? Somebody else did this to Rihanna then? I just would like to see justice go in the right direction."
Chris Brown, 19, entered a not guilty plea on both of his felony charges of assault and making criminal threats to Rihanna, 21, at Monday's arraignment.
"I don't want his career to be damaged -- it’s damaged already," Fenty said, "I think he’s a talented guy, but everybody should have to pay. When you do the crime, you do the time. I don't want to see him locked up for a long time -- I just want him to acknowledge and get some help."
"Who did it -- that’s the question now," he said. "If he’s not guilty, who did it? He should say 'guilty' and let the court be leaning into him and try himself to the mercy of the court, see if he gets a fine..."
Ronald Fenty also said, "Now he’s going to go beyond that and it could go longer, it can be even worse. It can be worse for him in the long run."

Rihanna looks for a new mansion

Whether Rihanna is moving on remains to be seen. But she is moving on up.
The songbird, who has kept a relatively low profile since her alleged assault at the hands of boyfriend Chris Brown last month, reemerged in Los Angeles yesterday, where she began a house-hunting tour of the Hollywood Hills with several friends.
Among the homes the "Disturbia" singer and her pals viewed was a $6.25 million property once owned by Jerry Seinfeld. The 5,913-square-foot home boasts three bedrooms, five bathrooms, a pool and hot tub and, seemingly most important, hilltop views of the city.
"She wants a home with a great view," real estate agent Russell Filice, who showed Rihanna the former Seinfeld abode, told E! News.
"She hasn't made any decisions on anything yet. I think it's early on in the process."
Per Filice, the singer, who inevitably was being followed paparazzi at the time, seemed unfazed by the trailing cameras.
"She was great. She seemed very happy, no bruises, very sweet and beautiful."

Rihanna was seen getting “pretty cosy” with Wilmer Valderrama at the Geisha House in Hollywood last Wednesday.
Wilmer, star of That 70s Show and Lindsay Lohan's ex, hosts weekly karaoke nights there. Apparently he made a beeline for 21-year-old Rihanna when she walked in.
A spy for The Mirror said: “Rihanna looked so pretty and Wilmer could hardly take his eyes off her.

 Rihanna kept a low profile while visiting Manhattan over the weekend. Instead of hitting the hot spots, she held court at Second Avenue watering hole Professor Thom's.
"She stayed from 11 p.m. till about 2 a.m. for a friend's birthday," said a New York Post spy. "The room was completely blocked by her bodyguards." Bang Showbiz reported yesterday that the songstress "desperately wants the whole situation [with Chris Brown] to go away," which could be why Rihanna was "flying solo."

EW: What do you make of everyone from Katie Couric and Oprah Winfrey to Tyra Banks and Dr. Phil attempting to get through to Rihanna on their shows? Do you think it will help or is it just a circus?
EVAN ROGERS: I think that everyone has good intentions and means well, but it turns up the heat in terms of it seeming like the whole world is telling her what to do. At the end of the day, people forget that at 21, your perspective is very different. These kinds of things can happen to anyone, whether you're a celebrity or not.
EW: As someone who knows Rihanna and is close to her, do you think she's taking their advice into consideration? Has she been watching those shows and following what public figures like Oprah are saying about her?
ER: I think she's very aware of everything that's going on. Just like anyone else, she watches TV, she goes online. And I think that it matters to her, but there's a line that she walks between being human and caring when you hear these kinds of things, and separating your personal life from your professional life. Rihanna and Chris Brown reportedly "take a break"

It's no coincidence that Rihanna and Chris Brown are on opposite coasts right now.
According to a source close to the couple, they have been "taking a break."
The source tells E! News that the pair are not calling it a formal breakup, but have decided to put some distance between them. We are told they plan to see each other soon.
Reps for both singers have not returned calls seeking comment on the break.
Last Thursday, Rihanna flew to New York City, where she, Brandy, Beyoncé and Jay-Z reportedly enjoyed a quiet dinner together at the Spotted Pig Friday night. Then on Saturday night, she dined with friends at Da Silvano.
Meanwhile, Brown has remained in Los Angeles. Sources tell E! that the "Kiss Kiss" singer has spent the entire time working on his album, most recently at the Record Plant in Hollywood.
"He's just putting ideas down for some songs he wrote," says a Brown source. "He needs to feel like he's moving forward."

Oprah Warns Rihanna

Talk Show Host Oprah has warned Rihanna not to forgive Chris Brown who late last month assaulted Rihanna.
She goes onto say, "You need somebody to tell you the truth in this moment. And the truth is guys, both Chris Brown and Rihanna, if I were your friend, I would call you up and I would say 'Give it some time, get yourself some counselling, take care of yourself, heal yourself first.'
"And also, 'Love doesn't hurt'. I've been saying this to women for years - love doesn't hurt. And if a man hits you once, he will hit you again. He will hit you again. I don't care what his plea is, he will hit you again.'"
